Traditional Types of Outreach

Who uses the various types of communication? Everybody uses communication which include voice, tone of voice, inflection of voice, body language, signing, hand gestures, audio, video, speaking, writing letters, books, pamphlets, pictures, photographs, and any conceivable way to communication with another person or animal. This ia a rather broad definition. However, some forms of communication are more effective in getting a message across than other forms. Forty years ago this was the list.

Today we have added TV, CDs, DVDs, Internet, e-mail, etc. Do we still think in traditional types of outreach or have we develop new approaches for the church congregation, community, and the World?
